 Task 1 Brief 5- Alors on danse by Stromae 1) The lighting is dark to show gloominess and that he is tired from work. The costume he is wearing is a suit so present formality. Furthermore, in this part of the video we can see a person piling the protagonist up with a bunch of papers. Despite being overworked, he remains emotionless. The audience may feel guilt for him at this stage. The protagonist is then forced into a bar where he has to sing. However it is clear from his facial expressions that he doesn't want to and is full of exhaustion. He is placed directly in the middle of the stage where he is pressured in singing in from of several people. The bright light shone upon him further creates more tension. In the end, he has clearly fully lost control. His costume is now scuffed up compared to how it was in the beginning.
