6) How do Doctor Who and His Dark Materials help the BBC to meet the BBC's remit to inform, educate and entertain? Answer this question in at least 150 words.
Doctor Who and His Dark Materials help meet the BBC's remit to inform in Doctor Who by telling a story about a TARDIS that can travel in time. Same with His Dark materials where Lyra and a group of other children are trapped in a different world because of Witches. Furthermore, Doctor who educates the public by encouraging more women to immerse into the STEM field in education. This is proven when Susan is exponentially greater at science than every other subject. His Dark Materials also educated kids on how to be more independent and caring to others referring to the friendly bond between Lyra and Will. Finally, they both entertain as they mainly revolve around the fantasy genre in media. They both have decent plots and story to back up the educational and informative purposes.
